Biblical Counseling is a counseling practice that upholds Scripture as the authoritative Word of God believing that it holds the standard by which people must abide as they live their lives and is the guide by which to address spiritual concerns of any kind. As our method of counseling, Serenity & Grace utilizes the Word of God as it’s main reference, the Holy Spirit as our Guide, and Helper (John 14:26, 16:13), and Jesus Christ as our Example (1Peter 2:21). In our counseling methodology, we address the spiritual nature of one’s problem which ultimately should bring change to one’s manner of life. The Word of God and the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is central to our counseling practice and will be offered as the counselee’s main motivation for change. The hope of Biblical Counseling is that problems in the counselee’s life will be dealt with differently than before and the counselee would have more confidence in their success over these problems.
